The E.coli outbreak is originally linked to pre-sliced onion used in McDonald’s Quarter Pounder burgers, and it has caused major food chain restaurants- - including KFC, Taco Bell, and Burger King- - to take precautionary measures by removing fresh onions from their menus in the US.
